Camera Phones.

Since the arrival of camera phones, the live music experience changed. We collectively entered the new music millennium amongst the crowds where we once stood with our hands free, possibly showing our appreciation with simple sign language, maybe a peace sign, or a rock fork (Fuck Yeah). Now fully engaged and fast-forwarded through the naughty’s, where the mobile phone is regarded as an essential tool, we glitter the dance hall and festival fields with multicoloured LED's alongside arrays of flash’s and infrared beams kept inside our pockets.

Camera Phones II

A new chapter of photography has already begun where were able to take, collect and publish pictures quicker than we have ever done before. Being able to pinpoint the period of the music not only by the fashions and styles of the musicians on stage but also through the types of phones being used in the foregrounds of our own pictures.
It seems we all know how to take pictures now and take good quality ones too, especially with smart phones that could be said have started to pose as witness to our own experiences, possibly even taking precedence from our own eyes during a concert.  With projector phones just round the corner and with functions to recreate our own experiences once recorded.  Are we just collecting avidly and preparing our own archives so we can recreate our provisional vision as to enjoy something that we once saw?

David Brian Smith at the Saatchi Gallery

I now feel a little closer to the work of David Brian Smith, as when I saw his work hanging in the Saatchi Gallery I had a little vom in my own mouth! This is an amazing painting.

As of recent research done in the world of HEAD TILT it has been noted that in the Therapy Library there is cause for concern if this activity is not performed with due care and attention.

"Do not use this technique unless directed by your speech pathologist or healthcare provider."

From the Silent to the Swing.

Whilst the Invisible Circus sleep through the cold winter the signs of new light emerge through the  circus silks hanging silently in the event space.  Watch this space at Bridewell Island as the Carny Villains release day has been announced for the 12th of Feb. What could be better its all alongside Ben Capp's Birthday!
